Bull I/O Cooperation
The research department of DKRZ is involved in a cooperation with Bull to improve I/O for climate applications on the Mistral supercomputer. DKRZ is supported with two positions that collaborate in a co-design approach. One position focuses on improving compute and I/O on the application layer, the other on improving I/O starting on the middleware layer. This page describes the role of the latter position. See the general project description and organization here (TODO link).
