The module “AI Methods in Academia” introduces students to the fundamentals and application possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the university context. They learn to analyze and evaluate AI-powered tools for research, text production, and data analysis, as well as to develop strategies for the privacy-compliant and sustainable use of AI in their studies. Through the application of AI tools and reflection on their use, students are enabled to purposefully employ AI methods to support academic tasks. The module concludes with the creation of a report in which students present and reflect on their experiences and insights gained from applying AI methods in everyday university life.
