====== UKIEPC contest ====== The University hosted the [[http://ukiepc.info/2018/|UKIEPC]] contest locally. The UKIEPC is the UK & Ireland Subregional Contest for NWERC (the Northwestern Europe European Regional Contest), of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). UKIEPC is a practice competition, held annually. || Date || Saturday, October 20th, 2018|| || Time || 10am - 6pm || || Venue || Room G56, Polly Vacher, Reading, UK || {{ :events:2018:ukiepc:ads.jpeg?300&&nolink|}} We had 7 student teams participating in the contest trying to solve 8 programming challenges. The computer science department supported the event by funding the lunch and the awards for the local best teams. The best team was awarded by one Raspberry Pi3 each and the second team with Amazon vouchers. We congratulate the winners for their achievement.
