Biography

Tiejun Wang is a visiting scholar at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Reading. He received his doctor degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) in 2010. During the doctoral period, he presided over and participated in several national projects about distributed storage and heterogeneous data processing. He was vice GM of Chengdu Wisersoft Information and Technology Co., Ltd. which had developed a total solution of cloud computing for private cloud to serve companies, government and universities from 2013 to 2016. Currently, he is a lecturer at School of Computer Science at the Chengdu University of Information Technology (CUIT), China. He has about ten years teaching experience in higher education and now he is the head of teaching and research section of computer engineering. Meanwhile, he works at the Cloud Computing and Parallel Computing Lab of CUIT and his research interests are Cloud Computing, High-Performance Computing, Data Mining and Distributed Storage.
